My very complicated name originated in Lithuania, where I was born and raised.

The decision to become a photographer came to me at the age of 16 when I had to decide what to do after high school. It was the best decision I have made in my life so far!

After graduation from Vilnius Art Academy with Master’s degree in Fine Art Photography I moved to the US. And little by little began to build my photography business. In 2004 Ieva Sireikyte Photography was born.

Now, over 10 years later I have photographed, somewhat 300+ weddings, met some amazing people, been to some extremely beautiful places, witnessed all kinds of unknown customs and do not plan to stop doing all this anytime soon.

Some unrelated but interesting facts about me:

I have a beautiful daughter, whose photos occupy most of my instagram and facebook feeds.

My biggest passion (besides photography) is travel, world cuisines and herbs

Even though NYC captured my heart the day I stepped out of the plane, I feel good anywhere and even better on the road. My gypsy soul pairs nicely with my photographic endeavors.

I am big DIY fan, because I enjoy figuring out how stuff works.

I am into mycology.

I grow my own mushrooms and make my own beer. Outcome is average, but journey is that what matters, right?

I have been 5 times to Burning Man and plan to go there again someday.

Forests, fog and fairytales fascinate me beyond imaginable.

Therefore, wedding photography is a perfect genre for me: it’s journalism, it’s portraiture, it’s still life, it’s beauty and it’s a never ending fiesta!
