My very hard-to-pronounce name originated in Lithuania, where I was born and raised.

The decision to become a photographer came to me at the age of 16 when I had to decide what to do after high school. It was the best decision I have made in my life so far!

After graduating from Vilnius Art Academy with a Master’s degree in Fine Art Photography, I moved to the US. And little by little began to build my photography business. In 2004 IEVA Photography was born.

Now, almost 20 years later I have photographed, somewhat 3000+ weddings met some amazing people, been to some extremely beautiful places, and witnessed all kinds of unknown customs, and do not plan to stop doing all this anytime soon.

About

Some unrelated but interesting facts about me:

I have a teen daughter, who absolutely hates being in front of the camera, but bribery and the art of persuasion go a long way.

My biggest passion (besides photography) is travel, winemaking, and herbalism.

Even though NYC captured my heart the day I stepped out of the plane, I feel good anywhere and even better on the road. My gypsy soul pairs nicely with my photographic endeavors.

I am a big DIY fan because I enjoy figuring out how stuff works.

I am into mycology.

I grow my own mushrooms and make my own wine. The outcome is rarely above average, but the journey is what matters, right?

I have been 5 times to Burning Man and plan to go there again someday.

Forests, fog, and mythology fascinate me beyond imaginable.

Therefore, wedding photography is a perfect genre for me: it’s journalism, it’s portraiture, it’s still life, it’s glamor and it’s a never-ending fiesta!
